Evogen EVP Review

EVP is rarity in the supplement market, a pre-workout formula that is stimulant free and purely focused on performance during training. Many pre-workouts are super high in caffeine and other stimulants, while EVP offers an alternative for those looking to avoid any stimulant substances.

Taste and Mixability

EVP comes in a grape flavour, which is a standard flavour for many pre-workouts, and tastes similar to a lot of the options on the market. It is not unpleasant, without being the tastiest supplement on the market (pre-workouts tend to be this way). The mixing of the product is a little worse than some on the market, as it can get quite frothed up and leave a few fragments around the mixture.

EVP uses a number of proven ingredients to aid in muscle pump and strength, such as Arginine Alpha Ketoglutarate (AAKG), Citruline Malate, as well as a number of other Arginine blends/derivatives which aid in blood flow and cell volumisation. There are also a few different Glutamine derivatives for muscle recovery and fatigue reduction, as well as quality Carnosyn Beta Alanine for lactic acid buffering and muscle pump. As well as this, a big dose of L-Leucine aids in muscle protein synthesis and recovery.

Final Thoughts

EVP is certainly one of the best stimulant free pre-workouts on the market. It offers all the benefits (and some more) of other stimulant dosed pre-workouts, but without those negatives some may find from heavy dosages of caffeine. While the taste and mixing could be improved, the quality of the ingredients are top shelf, and the product gives a great muscle pump and strength boost for those looking to improve training performance.
